Prestige Area Xbox Finals: Earned Not Given vs. Liquid Pro-Am

2 min read

Earned Not Given squared off with Liquid Pro-Am to determine who would be crowned Xbox champions of Prestige Area’s ‘The Arrival’. The series was best-of-five but lasted just three games in total, as Earned Not Given repeatedly made plays in late-game situations to secure the series sweep. Game summaries, statistics, and highlights below:

EarnedNotGiven: (PG) CooksOnFire, (Lock) Notorious, (PF) Oreo, (PF) Fakiee, (C) DTrick

Liquid Pro-Am: (PG) Spam1of1, (G) JohnnyRed, (Lock) Saint, (PF) HOMI, (C) Pat

Game One

Earned Not Given went on a 9-0 run to open the third quarter of game one, taking control and never letting up. Lead guard CooksOnFire controlled the game’s pace in it’s entirety, while ENG’s defense consistently produced stops; a winning combination.

Game Two

We had some fireworks towards the end of game two. After yet another lagout, Liquid Pro-Am managed to pull off an improbable comeback behind a few late game buckets from Saint and JohnnyRed, ultimately forcing an overtime period.

CooksOnFire and co. dominated the first few minutes, but yet again, late-game heroics from JohnnyRed forced another overtime quarter. The second overtime (and game two in general) was dominated by lockdown defender, Notorious. Earned Not Given quickly got out to a double-digit lead and this time, they’d hold on, going up 2-0 in the series.

Game Three

Game three included back-and-forth action for 3+ quarters, but when the fourth quarter rolled around, it was CooksOnFire time. Similar to game one, Cooks made the right choices in big moments, hit clutch shots, and Earned Not Given walked away with a clean series sweep.
