Untitled def. Make It Happen, 3-1 in Prestige Area's 'The Arrival' (PS5)

Untitled matched up with Make It Happen in Prestige Area’s PS5 ‘The Arrival’ finals. A team filled with prospects versus a squad of four NBA 2K League veterans with thousands of dollars on the line. Let’s review:

Untitled: (PG) Claude, (G) Rigby, (Lock) Randomz, (PF) BxmpyDon, (C) TopTierCrown

Make It Happen: (PG) Sherm, (G) Dweq, (Lock) DDouble, (PF) Dhuggz, (C) PeteBeBallin

Game One

The first game was a close competitive contest, coming down to the last few possessions. Make It Happen took the lead, Untitled answered immediately. Rinse, repeat for the final 90 seconds. Rigby hit a tough look to give Untitled the game-deciding advantage and Make It Happen couldn’t find a shot with so little time remaining. Untitled starts the series with a 1-0 lead.

Game Two

Untitled began distancing themselves in the third quarter, carrying a nine-point advantage into the final frame. Make It Happen managed to cut the lead to just 2 points behind a strong Sherm performance (30 points, 7 assists), but it ended up being a ‘too little, too late’ situation. Untitled’s center, TopTierCrown recorded a double-double while filling the stat sheet (13 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block).

Game Three

Although it was a tight-knit contest, Make It Happen closed out game three strongly, securing their first win of the series.

Game Four

Neither team created an early lead during games one through three but the fourth contest was a different story. Untitled was on fire from the start, extending their lead to nearly 20 before halftime largely due to Claude’s shooting from beyond the arc.

Make It Happen weathered the storm in the second half, coming within 6 points late in the fourth quarter. Once again, similar to game one, the comeback couldn’t be completed. Untitled wins the series 3-1, claiming Prestige Area’s first PS5 trophy.
