Storyline:

How Do The Pieces Fit?

Hawks Talon GC finished last season with a 7-9 record, stuck on the outside looking in as far as the playoff picture went. The year featured plenty of ups and downs, including a mid-season BP injury and multiple different starting lineups. During the offseason, Atlanta’s front office and coaching staff retooled their roster, adding three new talented prospects to their core of BP, KelMav, and Lee.

In case you didn’t hear, Hawks Talon GC drafted a point guard in the first round. Atlanta spent quite a few assets acquiring season three starter BP, including surrendering the draft pick that yielded Crush, one of the league’s top lockdown defenders. Just one season later, the team used a valuable asset to acquire Ceez, another ball-dominant guard. The 11th overall selection will join BP and KelMav in a crowded but talented backcourt, begging the question: how do the pieces fit exactly?

As for the frontcourt, Hawks Talon GC moved on from Stylez and Follow, selecting Fakiee and MikeSwann to play alongside Lee. Swann is expected to lead the team’s defense as the starting lockdown defender, while Fakiee will be slotted at power forward next to their 2020 All-Rookie selection, Lee.
