NBA 2K League Season Four Guide: Bucks Gaming

With the NBA 2K League’s fourth season quickly approaching, I put together a new series called ‘NBA 2K League Season Four Guides’. Storyline:

BucksGG Regroups Around ROY Regg

When Regg dropped to 12th overall in the 2020 draft, Bucks Gaming probably couldn’t have submitted their draft choice any faster than they did. Despite a lackluster start to season three, Bucks Gaming was able to rebound behind the strong play of their first-round draft choice, Regg. The team secured a playoff spot before ultimately falling to Warriors Gaming Squad (the eventual 2KL runner-up). Around the same time, it was announced that Regg earned season three’s Rookie of the Year honors, joining Reizey as the second player in league history to earn the award.

Returning to Milwaukee with Regg will be ARooks and Plondo, a pair of former first-rounders entering their fourth and third seasons with the franchise, respectively. This trio is a legitimate NBA 2K League “Big Three”, and now has an extra year’s worth of experience and chemistry under their belts.

During a season in which Milwaukee broke the single-game points scored record several times, the team found most of their issues on the defensive side of the court, allowing the fourth-most points per game among league teams. Insert draft selections Lotty, Komp, and Perm. After spending a season sharing a backcourt with Jazz Gaming’s Splash, Lotty will return to a lockdown defender role with BucksGG. Both Komp and Perm are expected to battle it out for the starting power forward job.

Now, with a new-look roster that features three returning players and three new faces, Bucks Gaming is prepared to take the next step this season. Just getting to the playoffs isn’t enough anymore, they want to experience success there as well.
