NBA 2K League Season Four Guide: 76ers GC

With the NBA 2K League’s fourth season quickly approaching, I put together a new series called ‘Season Four Guides’. I’ll be going team-by-team, providing key information and offseason news, along with statistics, highlights, and storylines. In addition to this post, I teamed up with Strider Visuals to turn these ‘guides’ into videos, which can be found here and at the bottom of this article.

Storyline:

Sixers Swap Superstars

At one point we all thought it would be OneWildWalnut and Radiant pairing up in Philadelphia. Rather, a draft day trade that sent Radiant to Pistons GT means 76ers GC will build around 2018 MVP, OneWildWalnut. The former Blazer5 Gaming member will be paired with veterans Steez and ToxSik, along with a trio of rookies (HoodieDre, Caliraq, and UnderratedGoat).

Parting ways with their first-ever player in Radiant, 76ers GC will look to HoodieDre to operate the offense. 2021’s fourth overall selection, HoodieDre is a talented point guard prospect loaded with plenty of potential. Joining him in the backcourt will be fellow lottery selection (12), Caliraq, a two-way guard that excels at shooting from deep, coming off a dominant offseason with RDG.

Leading the defense on the opposite end of the court will be either UnderratedGoat or ToxSik, a couple of 2021 draft picks. 76ers GC selected these players just three picks apart, leaving the question: who will be the starter? Will it be ToxSik, the savvy veteran who’s entering his fourth season in the NBA 2K League after logging time as a professional HALO player? Or, will it be UnderratedGoat, the young hungry rookie recently selected in the second round of the draft?

Regardless, Philadelphia has plenty to be excited about. After a disappointing season three, 76ers GC regrouped, reshaping their roster around a former MVP and a top-five draft choice. Out with the old, in the with the new, 76ers GC is primed to be in the conversation of championship contenders once again.
